About my Small Paintings

I paint very large paintings, that can be found in corporate and private collections worldwide, as well as in hotels restaurants, hospitals and motion pictures. To view my large paintings use the tabs at the top of this blog, or click one of the images directly below to visit one of my websites. THIS site is dedicated( WITH THE OCCASIONAL EXCEPTION) to small paintings, some on paper and others on canvas, ranging from 3"x3" to 12"x12". All paintings on paper are done in standard sizes, 4x6,5x7,8x8,8x10, so that should you choose to do so, you can easily purchase a frame from Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or any other local frame shop or art store without going to the expense of custom framing. The paper paintings are often "color studies" for my large paintings on canvas. They are done on either 140 lb watercolor paper, or 246 lb acrylic paper. My paintings are "poured" , so the paint is very thick, and the paper does not buckle, but lays beautifully flat in it's frame. Paintings done on gallery wrapped canvas are beautifully finished around the sides and ready to hang, stand alone, or display on an easel. See the example on the red wall below.
